Current Listings - Brantford, Ontario Location
Main job duties include, but not limited to:
- Engineering customer orders, including: capacity calculation, refrigeration component selection, new parts design using AutoCAD and Solid Edge, including sheet metals, tubes, electrical wiring diagrams and detailed assembly drawings.
- Responsible for the creation and management of engineering bill of materials for designated product lines, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Solving production issues, including working with Manufacturing Engineering and Production departments to optimize material usage and the assembly process.
- R&D lab works: including some lab tests, new lab equipment selection, as well as design and equipment set up
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Training in the use of 2-D and 3-D CAD software
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering Technician Graduation Diploma or Refrigeration Mechanic license or 5 years related experience
• Working knowledge of refrigeration systems/components and how to apply them
• Hands-on refrigeration application knowledge or field trouble-shooting experience
• Possess a valid passport with ability to cross border between Canada and USA
