As part of KeepRite Refrigeration\u2019s family of Smart3 System Saving Solutions<\/span><\/a>, the ESP+ Intuitive Evaporator Control Technology<\/span><\/a> helps to control your evaporator\u2019s<\/span><\/a> box temperature, superheat, defrost initiation, defrost termination, fan motors and defrost heater. <\/span><\/p>\n

From time to time, you need to put the unit into manual defrost mode. To do this, simply press and hold \u201cEnter\u201d and the \u201c<\/span>\u2228<\/span>\u201d arrow until \u201cddF\u201d displays.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fans will continue to run for several minutes using stored cooling in the coil. Once the coil reaches room temperature the fans will stop, and the heaters will turn on to begin the electric defrost. <\/span><\/p>\n

Once this happens, your ESP+ unit is in manual defrost mode. It\u2019s as easy as 1, 2 and that\u2019s it! No third step even necessary.
