ENGINEERING DESIGNER
Requirements include, but not limited to:
  • Engineering customer orders, including capacity calculation and refrigeration component selection.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD and Solid Edge to design new parts for special orders.
  • Creating and managing engineering bill of materials for designated product lines.
  • Working with other departments to resolve issues and to optimize material usage and assembly processes.
  • R&D project works, including heat transfer and fluid dynamics calculation, new components and parts selection, cost optimization, new products design, preparing drawings, and bill of materials set up
  • R&D lab works including lab tests, new lab equipment selection or design and equipment set up
  • Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration and experience with CO2 systems
  • Training in the use of 2-D and 3-D CAD software

PRODUCT SPECIALIST

Summary: Responsible for providing front line technical support to sales, contractors and customers for various products and services offered by the company. This role will report directly to the VP of Engineering. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Receive, interpret and respond to sales or customer product related inquiries
  • Design refrigeration systems and select equipment based on parameters supplied or industry standards
  • Prepare quotations for customers and external sales personnel
  • Offer technical support/trouble-shooting expertise for field issues in person, by phone or other electronic means
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation
  • Liaison between contractors, customers, sales, engineering and manufacturing groups
  • Willing to travel to offer technical support when required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering Technician Graduation Diploma or 5 years related experience
  • Ability to read, write and converse in French and/or Spanish.
  • Possess a valid passport with ability to cross border between Canada and USA.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs and computer use.

PRODUCT SPECIALIST AND DESIGNER

Summary:Responsible for designing refrigeration system based on industry standard and responding to sale or customer inquiries. This role will report to the Engineering Manager and VP of Engineering.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Receive, interpret and respond to sales or customer inquiries
  • Design refrigeration systems and select equipment based on parameters supplied or industry standards
  • Prepare quotations for customers and external sales personnel
  • Responsible for the creation and management of engineering bill of materials for designated product lines, ensuring accuracy and quality, and its release to production
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation
  • Liaison between contractors, customers, sales, engineering and manufacturing groups
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Training in the use of 2-D and 2-D CAD software
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration systems/ components and how to apply them.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs and computer use.

JUNIOR AND INTERMEDIATE DESIGN ENGINEERS

Main job duties include, but not limited to:

  • Engineering customer orders, including: capacity calculation, refrigeration component selection, new parts design using AutoCAD and Solid Works, including sheet metals, tubes, electrical wiring diagrams and detailed assembly drawings.
  • Responsible for the creation and management of engineering bill of materials, ensuring accuracy.
  • Provide production support.
  •  Conduct lab testing and data analyzing.
  •  Provide customer support.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Training in the use of 2-D and 3-D CAD software
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office programs especially Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
