Energy Calculator Tutorial #1 – Setting Your Location and Adding a Condensing Unit

KeepRite Refrigeration Energy Calculator Tutorial

KeepRite Refrigeration’s desktop or mobile Energy Calculator helps you with your ROI calculations based on your refrigeration equipment selections, by giving you meaningful energy consumption data and operating cost estimates based on your location. To get started using our Energy Calculator, you first need to set your location and add a condensing unit, and we’re here to tell you how!

To begin, you will be prompted to choose the location in which the equipment will operate by selecting the country you live in, the state or province, and finally the closest major city listed. Once you select your location you will then be able to see your city’s energy cost.

Once you click “Continue”, the next step is to add your first condensing unit. To do this, you simply select “Add a Condensing Unit” in the first column of the page. From there, begin filling in the fields by selecting the appropriate choice that matches your condensing unit from the dropdown.

After you click “Add a Condensing Unit”, our energy calculator will then show you that condensing unit’s estimated energy usage and operating cost based on the location you set at the beginning.

And that’s how you set your location and add your first condensing unit using our Energy Calculator. Adding options from our Smart3 suite of energy saving technologies can enhance these savings even further.

Stay tuned for our next blog that will explain how to add a second condensing unit and compare their energy usage. Try using our Energy Calculator today and discover your savings!
