Welcome to your final Energy Calculator tutorial! Utilizing energy costs and weather data for most major North American cities, refrigeration professionals can easily create and compare “What if” scenarios that best fit their needs.

At this point, you know how to set your location, add condensing units and add an evaporator in order to create a system and compare energy usage. Now it’s time to learn how to add variables into the equipment costs to determine your ROI.

Start by selecting the first system you want to compare at the bottom of the far right column. Next, select your second system and hit “Calculate”. Once both systems have been selected you will need to enter the estimated costs of the systems that you had set up in the previous tutorials.

This will prompt the calculator to show you your estimated “Payback in Years” at the bottom. Now you can officially determine your ROI calculations based on your equipment selection.
